Hello friends!
Today I would like to share an interview with the wonderful Lyn Thurman.
She has created The Soul Path Tribe which she describes as a place "created with goddess-inspiration for women like you who want a safe community to share dreams, find support, be accepted for their spiritual beliefs, and fearlessly move forward in life."How does that sound? Brilliant I reckon!!
Now, I present to you the wonderful, magical, inspirational Lyn Thurman!
Hello Lyn! Let me start by asking you to
introduce yourself.
Thank you so much for inviting me into your space, Elin. I’m a writer, coach, founder of the Soul Path Tribe and the Soul Path Magazine, and a big believer in magic! I live in England, by the sea, and you’ll often find me wandering along the beach or hanging out of the attic window taking photos of sunsets.
Your website is called Making Life Magical! I love it! How do you make life more magical?
I believe magic is all around us and in us but we have to
remember it’s there. Life can get crazy-busy and it’s all too easy to forget
about the little miracles that happen every day because we get caught up in the
kid’s drama or running errands or trying to tick everything off that impossibly
long to-do list. The first step is to slow down so you can listen to what your
inner voice is telling you and also to see the amazing world around
you.
Once you begin to realise that the divine spark is everywhere,
you start to make life more magical. You hear the whispers on the wind, stand
outside with barefeet to moongaze, let your heart pull you to places you never
thought you’d go.
"Once you begin to realise that the divine spark is everywhere,
you start to make life more magical."
I love your websites and am so interested in all you do! Tell us a bir more about it.
I would love to know more about the Soul Tribe! And I believe you are an Inner Goddess Revolutionary! What is that?
Have you ever had a year where you look back and think, ”wow, what exactly did I achieve?” That was how I felt about 2011. It wasn’t all bad but it wasn’t really good either and I knew I could be doing better. I just didn’t know exactly what.
Then we went to Wales in 2012 and everything fell into place. A visit to
a coalmine gave me the inspiration for community and walking up to the gorgeous
Welsh waterfalls felt like the Goddess was speaking to me with every step I
took.
In three days, I felt connected, inspired and knew that it was time to
fully walk my own soul path.
The Soul Path Tribe came into being because I wanted to offer a service to help women (and enlightened men) make positive steps forward each month (because we’ve all had years that suck like 2011). Each month there’s a workbook based around a different goddess and a guided visualisation MP3 plus other goodies throughout the month.
"The Inner Goddess Revolution is really about remembering the
power and potential each one of us has."
Community is really important and there’s a close-knit Facebook group
just for Soul Path members where good friendships have blossomed.
The Inner Goddess Revolution is really about remembering the
power and potential each one of us has. It’s reclaiming our birthright and
heritage as daughters (or sons) of the Goddess and using Her stories to help
fuel our own transformations.
It’s coaching with a goddess kick!
All of us experience Goddess in different ways. How would you describe Her.
What is your experience and journey?
It’s too big to describe or put into words but I think you see and you feel Her best when you step out into nature.

Samhain
Hello dear friends!
Here in Sweden the leaves are falling off the trees and the days are getting darker. At the moment I don´t mind, because it is so beautiful! We had an amazing summer, and the autumn has just been so beautiful too!
The beauty of mindfulness
The leaves on the trees have been red, orange, yellow and brown, and everytime I see one fall I remind myself that this leaf will only fall now. And I am witnessing it. In this moment. Here and now.
This helps me stay mindful on my life. It helps me enjoy every moment. It helps me see the beauty around me.
Samhain
At the moment we are in the energies of Samhain. It is a time of transformation and a time when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. It is a time for leaving things behind, with gratitude, and a time to allow one self to be transformed and look at what we would like to sow for the future.
We can imagine that what we leave behind is transformed and the energy of those things will flow into our new dreams, plans and projects.
A ceremony
I facilitated a ceremony this weekend on a beautiful Iron Age burial site, just outside of Stockholm. 16 people came and we gathered around a huge stone pile, which I sense is like a place to honour our grandmothers from time gone by. All the women and men of our blood line.
We lit candles for our loved ones who have died, we sowed seeds for the future and let old habits and patterns holding us back go. We sent out healing to the world, to friends and to ourselves.
Afterwards we had a picnic, and and the sun was going down I walked back towards the train station through the tall pine trees. Such a blessing to be able to be in a place like that and do ceremony. I am very grateful to the women and men who came and created the energy with me and who shared from their hearts.
A time for going within and without
Samhain can be a time for going within and looking at what we no longer need. That can be hard so for me it is very important that I stay inspired to do my work in this world.
I am working very hard on remembering to be grateful and to see the beauty around me. i keep saying it. Probably in every post I do. But that is because it works!
Practice
Practice gratitude every evening before you go to bed. Every morning too if you can, so that your first thought of the day awakens your mind and heart to peace and to possibilities.
Practice it throughout the day too! On your way home from the bus. At lunch. In the shower.
Right now.
Thank you for reading this!

Rest and inspiration
-This is a post copied from my website and blog www.elinhejllguest.com-
Hello my friends!
It has been a while since I wrote here, and a lot has happened. And not so much.
The Goddessconference here in Sweden was fantastic! It was a weekend filled with ceremony, workshops, talks, sharing around the fire and meeting old and new friends! About 60 women, and a few men, gathered for the weekend!
We were lucky enough to have Kathy Jones, Mike Jones and Katinka Soetens from Glastonbury and Grandmother Jean from the USA. Kathy shared her Vision of the Motherworld, Katinka led us in an evening of ceremonial dancing and Grandmother Jean held a drumming ceremony.
There was also ceremonies and workshops my myself, Lola Ravenstar, Ann Forsberg andEva Christiansson (Mama Jord) among others.
Just after we had ended our closing ceremony two beautiful rainbows appeared on the sky behind us! So beautiful!! See the photo!
It was definitely a weekend that will stay with me forever. And thoughts and seeds for next year´s conference are already starting to grow within us.
After the weekend I was filled with energy, but that energy did not seem to want to jump out and create. I wanted to ride the wave of power we had created, but I couldn´t. So I stayed within myself for a bit. But now I feel ready to rise again.
New ideas have started to take shape, and that is great since we are now at the time of the Autumn Equinox, and on the wheel of the year that I follow that is the time of the element of Earth, which contains manifestation!
I am thinking of creating a one year Goddess course here in Stockholm, which I hope to start in the spring.
Very exciting! I am feeling inspired!
I hope you are well and that you look after yourself.

More gratitude!
Hello friends!
I am back home now after travelling to the other side of the world and back. I often forget how fortunate I am to be able to spend a month or more in Australia about every two years!
Lately I have been feeling bit low. BUT I have also not been focusing on gratitude or positive thinking. My brain has felt too tired. But that is not an excuse! Gratitude is not hard, and I now make you a promise to get back into listing everything I am grateful for every evening.
Let us start NOW!
I am grateful for my month in beautiful Australia. The weather was soooo lovely! Every day!
I am grateful for sitting here in peace, listening to Deva Premal singing the Moola Mantra for me.
I am grateful that I have a home and food on the table.
I am grateful for having applied for a job yesterday.
I am grateful for finding sone inspirational book on sale yesterday!
(60% off!! Woop Woop!!)
I am grateful for having seen a client yesterday, and also having a new one next week! Bring it on!
I am grateful for having seen my grandfather yesterday. He is not very well at all.
I am grateful for my beautiful daughter. We laugh so much together!
I am grateful for my cup of coffee.
I am grateful for having started to create a new website which might be THE ONE, instead of having two blogs and two websites!!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Okelidokeli! I could go on. How about you?
What are you grateful for right now? In your life? Write it down.
Sending you love.
Elin

New inspiration
Thank you for stopping by here at my page! I am so thrilled that you do!
Today I have read some inspirational blog posts. It was just what I needed. Although I am surrounded by beauty I have been struggling to be in it. To be here and now and not to be sucked down into depression. I write so much about mindfulness, and how I live a lot in the moment. But here I have been, on holiday and have had a very hard time being present and being able to breathe in the beauty.
At times like these what I need is to find inspirational book, blogs, quotes and to have some time alone.
I have also been trying to see the beauty, to remind myself that it is there, to remember and to know! For example, when I have been going for my morning runs by the ocean and finding it hard to just BE in the beauty of the moment I tell myself:
See how beautiful the colour of the ocean is as the sun comes up?
Do you hear the sound of the waves as they break?
Can you smell the many scents of the rainforest as it is touched by the first rays of the sun?
This helps me to awaken, just a bit, and let it all in when I feel cut off.
What helps you when you feel cut off and closed down?
I also mentioned that blogs can help me. And today I read a post from my Priestess sister Tiziana. It was about freeing you mind and what that means for her. Here is the link, if you would like to read it too. Her beautiful writings made me decide to get into meditations more again. I used to do it once or twice a day, even if just for 10 minutes. But I have not done that for a while now.
I will do it, because I know how much better it makes me feel.
The other blog post was of course from Leonie Dawson. Will I ever stop linking to her pages you may wonder? Hmmm... Nooo, I don't think so!! She is just wonderful. And this post just made me feel relaxed and in awe of life and just so happy that I, too, have a wonderful daughter to share the world with.
Those are my thoughts today.
Blessings to you all.

I am still here!
Hello friends! Just sending you a quick hello from a sunny Port Macquarie! The weather is lovely and warm. A change from Sweden where winter refuses to let go.
Some delights have been:
Going for a run by the sea as the sun came up.
Having a swim in the ocean after an early morning run.
Saying hello to the dolphins.
Walking around without shoes! I love it!!
Watching the sunsets.
Watching hundreds of flying foxes fly past our balcony in the evenings.
Eating a huge ice cream.
I hope you are all well. I will be back writing more when I get to a real computer.
Sending you love and sunshine,
Elin x

Avalon trip!
Hello dear friends!
I am back from Glastonbury now. I have landed back home in Sweden in my normal life. I actually physically landed back home on Monday night. But all week I have not been able to get back into work. I have been very tired and just felt out of it. Yesterday I realized it was those Avalonian energies messing with my head! They are lovely and dreamy and transformative... But sometimes it is a bit hard to function when one is allowing them to rule!
Well, at least for those of us not living right there on the island!
The Priestess gathering I went there for was lovely! It was so great to spend a weekend with so many friends, old and new, and share our experience of Goddess and the work we do with and for her where we live. It was wonderful to here the inspirational talks from the others. I also gave a talk on my path as a Priestess since I finished the training in 2004.
It was all: lovely, inspirational, fantastic, exhausting and beautiful!
AND!! I have to tell you about when I flew home!! It was under a clear sky and a full moon that I could see for most of the flight outside my window. And as I looked down on the lit up towns below I started to make out shapes. And suddenly I saw a clear Goddess image! She had her arms raised and her legs spread out to the sides. She was so beautiful! I have decided to paint her so that I can share her with you! A few minutes later a saw a different one. It was such an amazing flight! AND the co-pilot was a woman!! Yay!

Journey to Avalon
Well, not everyone can be there, but this year a lot of us from overseas have made the effort to come since Kathy Jones said last year that she would like this year´s meeting to be BIG!
And it feels wonderful that so many of us will meet up for several days of workshops, talks and sharing!
I can´t wait to walk the sacred land, to walk up on the Tor and breathe in the energy of The Lady! I will be able to spend time with dear friends who I don´t see very often since most of us live in different countries.
On the Saturday I am giving a talk about my journey as a Priestess and how I have gotten to where I am today. It will be great fun! I can´t wait to hear the other talks too!
And I can´t wait to have a look around the shops! I know them so well, but I never know what treasures I will find!
When I come back I will tell you ALL about it!
Until then, be well dear friends!

Nature is wonderful!
Last night I saw a photographer on TV talk about a photo he had taken of ice crystal patterns on a window. It was beautiful and looked like something someone had drawn.
This morning as I went out on my balcony to hang out a blanket I was met by the beautiful sight of ice crystal patterns right there, outside my own door!
How wonderful and amazing nature is! I am in awe of the beauty of these natural patterns!
Enjoy, my friends!

Pleasure!

| I take great pleasure in looking at this picture!! |
In those moments, take a breath and stop your thinking.
Feeeeeel....
Do you have nice comfortable shoes on? Is the sky just stunningly beautiful? Are you eating something delicious? How about the flow of air into your lungs?
What are you enjoying, even LOVING, in this moment?
For me, right now....
A cup of delicious blackcurrant tea that feels warm in my belly... My feet are comfortably resting on the table.... My back is supported by a soft pillow and my home is quiet, warm and cosy. I am loving writing my blog and sharing my thoughts with you all.
I take pleasure in all of this and more.
Thank you for being here!
Shine!
"Your job is not to worry about whether or not you are worthy or whether you should. Your job is simple - step up. Shine. Be the biggest light you can."
Leonie Dawson
As I was working through Leonie Dawson´s business workbook today I read this quote. And it just hit me right in the heart! It rings so true to me! She is right! Why should we spend time worrying whether or not we should do something if we want to do it, if it feels right!
Let us just do it! Let us all shine!
Are you inspired by that quote too? Maybe you want to have a look at Leonie´s business workbook too!

Womb Wisdom circle
This was the first of five womb circles, and unfortunately I will miss the next two but I can tell you I will be back in that room ready for more for the last two!
We were four women who gathered in the beautiful space created by Camilla. In the corner was a table, covered with a dark, red tablecloth. It was the altar, and it was decorated with beautiful Goddess statues and other items. In the centre of the circle of pillows and sheep skin rugs was a tall candle and some flowers. Gentle healing music was playing and at first I just stood there, unable to sit down, just wanting to absorb, breathe in and be one with the beauty and the peace. Finally I chose my seat and sat down with a warm cup of chai tea.
It was a wonderful evening. We did breathing exercises and meditations, we danced to awaken the powerful, raw and beautiful female energy that we all have inside us. One exercise was a meditation where we held our arms out to the side for a VERY long time, while breathing and opening our hearts. It was hard, but towards the end I was filled with such an overwhelming joy I did not know what to do! I still do not understand what happened, and I don´t need to know. But I know that the pain in my arms was worth it.
By the end of the evening I felt that so much had happened, but not so much on a conscious level. I am thinking that the transformation is within and will continue to spread its wisdom and blessings in my life. I am ready to go deeper!
For those of you who want to know more about womb wisdom I can recommend the book Womb Wisdom by Padma and Anaiya Aon Prakasha. When I read it I was just amazed! I said to my husband that "This book is transforming my life!!" It is filled with soooo much wisdom and so much that just feels right. I really recommend it!
And if there is a womb circle near you I would check it out! We all need to connect to the primal power and knowledge of that sacred space!
Love and blessings.

What a beautiful day!
Today was sunny, icy cold and just amazingly beautiful! This morning we went for a short walk down to the lake, and in the afternoon we took another stroll on the way to the shops.
I took tie to just look, absorb and breeeeeathe in the beauty of this winter´s day. The sun´s light on the frozen lake, the light on the bare branches and the mossy rocks behind them, the tiny ice crystals on a wooden fence.
I would like to share some photos I took today. I hope you enjoy them!

New energy of Imbolc!
Today is the pagan celebration of Imbolc where we honor the Maiden aspect of ourselves. She who comes with new beginnings and lights the spark of inspiration in our hearts.
Oh how I welcome her!
I am feeling her inspiration and trying to open myself up even more so that I do not hold back anything. I want to embrace her to the full! I want to allow myself to follow her on her path, dancing past the budding flowers, laughing and singing. I want to go with the flow and learn to say YES and be OPEN!
I want to breathe her in and be transformed by her touch.
Today I felt such inspiration. I have decided to start creating e-courses, and the one I have started on is about mindfulness. I was wondering if I would be blocked and not know what to write. But I could not stop!! I only had two hours while my little daughter was sleeping, but it was wonderful to feel such flow! I have already started planning an advanced course! Wow!
How are you feeling? Are you open to the new energies of spring? Have you breathed in the beauty of the day and of the night?
Are you expecting miracles? Do!
May the blessings of Bridie be with you!

The fairies are being silly!
But the last two days I believe that the fairies have been saying hello to me by chucking snow in my face! I have been walking past the same trees, and twice have a sprinkle of snow flown down in my face! And this on a day with no wind! The other time it was a different tree... But still!!
Gotta be the fairies, eh?

At the moment I am following two amazing women in Australia who make me HAPPY to be alive and HAPPY to create and HAPPY to believe in myself and my business!
These two women are Hollie B at Lunation and Leonie Dawson. I love their energy, their lust for life and their JOY that can reach me all the way over here in Sweden! They are both in Australia!
What makes me so HAPPY is that they show me that it is possible to work with something that I love. They show me that I can work with JOY and throw myself out off the cliff into the unknown with a shout of joyful WIIIIIIIIIIEEEEE!
They show me that I can believe in myself if I did not already know that...
I love feeling inspired! I love reading books by people who explain in simple terms how to live in the present, and how to go with the flow and how to walk forward, every step, with HAPPINESS and presence!
Oh, I do hope that YOU also find inspiration and that you can walk everyday with love in your heart! Some days it is not easy, but when times are hard try to take a minute out and take ten deep and slow breaths, being present, noticing the beauty around you, wherever you are!
Goddess blessings to you my friend!

Sisters and friends
Having friends with whom we can be ourselves is wonderful and should be the norm. I have found friends like this who are in my now life and I hope and pray that everyone does! We need to support each other! We need to inspire each other and let ourselves be inspired! We do not need to compete, we need to offer love and acceptance so that each of us can grow and blossom into who we really are!
This weekend me and my daughter went to Söderhamn to visit my friend and Sister Priestess of Avalon Margitta Wigren. She also has a Goddess Temple where she offers sessions and runs trainings.
Spending time with my friend was wonderful! Just being able to share my thoughts, dreams, difficulties and successes is great! It is my wish that we all could find people with whom we can share and be and be accepted as who we are without having to hide behind masks of any kind.
This is why I believe it is so important for women to meet in Circles. In circles we can let our defenses down. We can cry, laugh and share our inner most feelings without being judged.
We need this. We need it badly! And we need it now!
This is what I hope to offer and I know that many women all over the world are doing it as I write this. That fills me with joy, inspiration and awe!
Thank you for being true to yourself. Thank you for sharing your feelings. Thank you for being YOU!

Where do I start?
Yesterday was a day of wonderful and unbridled inspiration! I felt so happy and full of energy that everything seemed possible!
And it still is possible, but sometimes I allow other people´s not-so-positive attitude to get to me and I tend to listen to my ego, which usually agrees with the not-so-positive energies. However I am doing my best to ignore the ego voices, or just tell it that Yes, I hear you, but I don´t have to believe or agree.
I take a deep breath and know that I CAN. I have things to offer and I am already offering so much to the world. If I was able to focus my energies and limited lime I would be able to start something even more magnificent!
And that is what this blog is about! I aim to offer you my thoughts, my knowledge, my journey and my heart and soul! I want to live a life inviting people in! Making friends! Creating abundance!
And I know I can do it!
I was thinking yesterday about what specific things I could write about and the things that came to me were:
Mindfulness, Goddess, the Stockholm Goddess Temple and the workshops and events I offer there, other people´s work, sharing what other creative and wonderful women are up to and much more!
Today is a beautifully sunny and freezing cold day in Stockholm and I have about 30 minutes before my daughter wakes up I would think. So I will sit down and start to create some new bits and pieces I am planning to offer the world! The world...that is YOU!
I send you love and hope you are very well today.
And before I go:
Take a deep breath. Look around you and notice one thing of beauty. Really see it and take it in to your heart for at least five seconds.
Thank you.

A new venture!
Hello friends! For a while now I have been blogging about my experience and my work of being a Priestess of the Goddess in Sweden. I wanted to share my journey and make new friends and also practice writing in Swedish since I had spent so many years living abroad and writing in English.
I am very happy with that blog and how many hits I get all the time! I am thrilled that people read what I have to say! But now I felt like I wanted to reach further! I want to reach people who can not speak Swedish, and therefore I have now started this blog!
I welcome YOU and hope that you will return and read about my work and my life with Goddess!
Just a bit about myself... My name is Elin and I am a Priestess of Avalon. I trained with Kathy Jones in Glastonbury for three years and have since helped create ceremonies at the Glastonbury Goddess Conference, and the German Goddess Conference, performed handfastings and Wheel of the Year ceremonies both in the UK and in Sweden, and I now run the Stockholm Goddess Temple.
The Temple is not open all the time yet, but that will change in the future when I get a permanent space. In the Temple I run workshops and meditation and healing sessions. It is a space which is loved by the women (and men) who enter and I am very happy and proud to have created it!
Later this year I will also be a ceremonialist the the Swedish Goddess Conference in Hälsningland. More information to come later!
I am a mother, a counsellor and coach and have a private practice in Stockholm. I am an artist; I create colorful Goddess statues which I have sold in Glastonbury and all over the world!
I aim to live a life in love, meeting everyone with love and helping to create a better world by being true to myself and living in the moment.
I hope that you will consider following my blog and I hope that you will enjoy finding out more about me and my journey as a Priestess.
See you again soon!
